It's easy to
get started with a GE Z-Wave Wireless Lighting Control System.
Start with a simple two-piece scheme, such as a GE Z-Wave
Remote and Lamp Module, and then add more modules for advanced
functionality.
Start by selecting the lighting devices in
your home that you want to control. Let’s say it’s
a floor lamp. Simply plug a GE lighting module into the wall,
and plug the lamp into the module.

If you’d like to control lights that
are already connected to a wall switch or dimmer, you can
simply replace the switch with a GE Z-Wave enabled wall switch.
This takes just minutes and is easy for any do-it-yourselfer.

When you’ve attached your lights, you “sync “ (or “pair”)
the control modules (wall switches or lamp modules) with
the remote control. This is done by simply pushing
buttons on both the remote controller and the Z-Wave modules.
This easy process “includes” the lights into
your Z-Wave network. That's it! You can now control those
devices with a push of a button.
