If you’re like millions of others and have broadband in your home, you’ve already got the foundation for a remote monitoring and control system.  The Home Remote Starter Kit by Hawking Technologies is an easy way to build on the foundation.  With this package, all  you need is a Philips head screwdriver and a PC to make one or more rooms in your home Z-Wave enabled.

To do this, you’ll connect the Hawking gateway to your broadband router with the supplied cable.

Then you’ll install batteries in the door sensor ad attach it to the door that you’d like to be Z-Wave enabled

You’ll add a Z-Wave wireless lamp module, which simply plugs into an AC outlet.

Start the Home Remote Setup Wizard on your PC, and the software will walk you through the rest of the
simple process.
