TheAeotec Smart Dimmer is a smart Z-Wave lamp module which can report immediate wattage consumption or kWh energy usage over a period of time. It can also be controlled by other Z-Wave devices to turn on/off/dim to save electricity when appropriate. This smart dimmer has been engineered to be compatible with as many lights as possible, from traditional incandescent bulbs to energy-saving halogen bulbs with or without transformers and is also compatible with dimmable LED bulbs that use traditional, triac dimming.
