What you need to know
The Standard Kits contain products that are the easiest to install and manage. There is no wiring required and they are pre-selected for easy installation. Existing non-Z-Wave products like lamps are Z-Wave enabled simply by plugging in a Z-Wave adaptor and adding it to your Z-Wave network.

What you need to know
Advanced Kits require more indepth knowledge of electric, water and gas metering system and their service entrances. Control devices for pools or spas may involve working with high voltage electrical lines. Some water valves may require plumbing knowledge.
