Whether you’re just getting started building your smart home or you’re adding new products to your ecosystem, sometimes you need an expert’s opinion. No matter where you are in the smart home journey, you can have confidence that Z-Wave has your back. Need some additional help with your smart home? Here’s how Z-Wave has your back:

Getting in touch with Z-Wave support

If you’re setting up your smart home, troubleshooting a problem, or just in need of some support, there are many different ways you can get in touch with Z-Wave, so you can get the help you need.

Getting started

Many of our Z-Wave products come with a physical manual to help you with installation, but if you’re a visual learner, we’ve got you covered, too!

On Z-Wave.com, you can find support videos for specific products, like Yale Real Living Touchscreen Deadbolt Installation or How to Connect Devices to SmartThings, to walk you step-by-step through the process.

Seeing the details

If a video moves to fast for you and you want to get down into the nitty-gritty, you can also find more detailed support documents. These quick-start guides, like How to Install a Nexia Bridge via Android or How to Connect Google Home with a Samsun SmartThings Hub, break down the installation process with helpful, labeled diagrams and charts.

Have a specific question biting at you that you don’t think you’ll find the answer to in the typical start-up guide? You can find even more detailed information in Z-Wave’s FAQs, where we answer questions about the Z-Wave basics, our range of products, and precise technical details, like “What does the term ‘remote access’ mean?” and “Do I need to get a new router?”

Talking with Z-Wave

We understand that, sometimes, you may need more help than a video or an FAQ can provide. That’s why we make it so easy to get in touch with the Z-Wave team.

There are two options for contacting a Z-Wave expert directly. You can call over the phone, where our team is available to work with you one-on-on 15 hours a day, 7 days a week. Or, if you’re short on time and want to work right from your computer, you can also get in touch with Z-Wave using Live Chat.

Meet with an installer at Service Live

Chatting with a Z-Wave expert online or over the phone can surely help you answer any questions you may have with your smart home. But if you want more help configuring your system, you can meet with an installer in-person with Service Live.

Service Live delivers professional installation and home services at your convenience and can help you no matter where you are in your Z-Wave smart home journey.

How does it work?

1. Tell them your need

Log on to ServiceLive.com and let them know which product(s) you’re working with and what the problem is. Or, if you’re not sure exactly how to pinpoint your issue, you can choose from a list of other categories.

3. Select your pro installer
